Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A) came at a time when people needed a source of help, and formula and that formula is the eternal love of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam. Lasani Sahib (R.A) spread the message of Islam and invited Muslims to the real centre of knowledge and power which is Madinah-tul-Manawarah. Lasani Sahib (R.A) always advised his devotees to love RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam from the core of their hearts. He devoted not just his entire life but also his generations for the spread of the message of love for the final Messenger of Allah (Rasoolulah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam).
Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A) used to deliver Dars of Holy Quran for hours and hours. No one could ever question his intelligence and command on the knowledge of Hadith and Holy Quran. Once a scholar came to Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A) with a Za’ef (fake) Hadith and said, “Hazrat this hadith is correct.” Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A) replied, “No janab it’s not correct.” The scholar said,” But look it’s written in the books”. The Great Shaykh Qibla –e-Aalam Lasani Paak (R.A) replied, “I just asked RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam and He told me which hadith is correct.” This is the nature of the link between Hazrat Lasani Paak(R.A) and the Master of the Universe Sayednah RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam. His major contribution is striving to weed-out the za’ef Ahadis.
Lasani Paak (R.A) used to open Quran-e-Kareem with his eyes closed and would start his lecture from the very page and Juzz of Holy Quran that would open. Based on the theme of that section he would answer questions and clear misconceptions of people. Acting upon the sanctified words of our sacred mother Sayadiah Ayesha Sadiqa(R.A) that the entire Holy Quran is nothing but praise of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam; he would link each and every verse of Holy Quran to the glory, grandeur and dignity of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam. Muslim scholars round the whole Muslim world admire Qibla-e Aalim for this speciality of him.
Because of being in true and deep love of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A) was blessed with great spiritual authority .Countless of his miracles can be narrated but the most important of them all is that none on earth ever witnessed Qibla-e-Aalam doing even a single minor action that was in contrary to the blessed Shariah of Rasool Allah (SAWW). Qibla-e-Aalam always remained surrounded by visitors, his mureedein, religious scholars and the lovers of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam but each single of them bears the witness that Qibla-e-Aalam surrendered his own self totally for the will of Allah Almighty and the Holy commandments of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam. He is unanimously accepted as the torchbearer of holy Shariah of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam.
The Miracles of Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A) are countless. Once a man travelled from Pakistan to England by road, as he approached the Middle East, heavy rain and heavy winds came. He struggled hard to drive and feared the worst which was death. Finding himself totally helpless among the mountains, he called upon his Sheikh Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A), as a result of which Alhumbdulilah he survived from the storm. He went Pakistan, reached Eidgah Sharif and sat at the door waiting to be called .As he was called in, Lasani Sahib (R.A) without any prior information from the man said “Oh Janab what happened to you at the mountains?” The man was surprised that how Qibla-e-Aalim knew everything which he faced. The man narrates that his eyes were full of tears on realizing the love, concern and the strong spiritual connection of his beloved Murshid Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A) with him.
Once an old man met me in England and told me something really amazing. He said that he knew Qibla-e-Aalm Lasani Paak (R.A) possessed modern higher education of that time. But one day when he looked at the handwriting of Qibla-e-Alam in some of the letters, he could not witness the reflection of it there. He was shocked at this and kept thinking why Lasani Paak (R.A) wrote in such a way? Months past, the same man read a local newspaper in which he saw a photocopy letter of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam. When he matched, he realized that the handwriting of Qibla-e-Alam Lasani Sahib (R.A) exactly matched the handwriting of Rassol Allah (SAWW). That was where he got his answer of why Qibla-e-Aalm adopted this pattern of writing. In fact, Lasani Sahib (R.A) tried to follow every aspect of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam.
Once in Madinah Paak an Arab approached Lasani Sahib and asked him…”I wish to ask you a question regarding the Roza Paak of RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam.” Lasani Sahib replied, “Bismillah.” The man said Hadith says,”do not treat the Prophet’s Moqam as a statue”, what do you say of this? Lasani Sahib replied.”Oh Brother the reason why RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam said this was just to inform the whole Ummah that statues are dead and have no value and when you visit RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam he is indeed Alive.
These days People perform Chilleh (seclusions) for 40 days. Lasani Sahib went to Madinah Paak and was accepted by RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam as soon as he reached and said:
“Oh king of my soul accept my presence here”
It was solely out of profound love for RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam that Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A) visited Madinah tul Manawarah countless times. The crux of teachings of Hazrat Lasani Sahib (R.A) is Madinah Paak ,Madinah Paak and only Madinah Paak! His message remains that only Madinah Paak is the centre for every good and that we should return towards our centre. We should love RasoolAllah Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa Sallam profoundly and view each single matter of our lives in the perspective of this purified love.
Alhamdulillah, Eidgah Shareef is strongly intact with the same message and working for the same mission even today.
